What these photographs do and do not show

These are our own job photographs, taken on the day with a phone, in whatever light the room had. That is why some are dim and some are bright — a before shot taken in the evening and an after shot taken at noon would be flattering and dishonest, so we do not do it.

Several of the after shots have equipment still in frame: an extraction wand on the stairs, a hose behind a chair, an air mover next to an armchair. We have left them in deliberately. It is evidence that the picture was taken at the job rather than staged afterwards.

What they do not show is a guarantee. These were the results on those items, with those fabrics and those stains. Your sofa may do better or worse depending on the fibre, how long the mark has been there, and whether anything has already been tried on it.

That is why we would rather look at a photo of your actual piece and give you an honest expectation than let a gallery make a promise on our behalf.
